Education | - High/Secondary school completion from a regionally accredited school is required
- Within the last 10 years, Undergraduate/Bachelor/Associate/College/Premedical studies from a regionally accredited school/college, accumulating a minimum of 90 credits which included the following is required -
- One year of Biology/Zoology with lab (8 credits)
- One year of General/Inorganic Chemistry with lab (8 credits)
- One year of Organic Chemistry with lab (8 credits)
- One year of Physics with lab (8 credits)
- One year of English (6 credits)
- The following is optional – one semester of Mathematics (calculus or statistics)
- A total GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred. Applicants with lower GPA scores should present compelling letters of recommendation and a personal statement to demonstrate that they have a strong commitment to pursuing a career in medicine.
- MCAT is recommended, but not required, for USA’s applicants.
- Indian applicants- if you wish to get licensed in India then NEET qualification is required from within the last 3 years (50th percentile for general category and 40th percentile for special reservations). NEET is not a requirement if you wish to get licensed to practice in all other countries including Antigua, USA, UK, etc.
- If the above-required credits were not taught in English, then TOEFL or IELTS is required.
- An English translation of non-English transcripts will have to be submitted.
- Official transcript needs to be sent directly from your school

Missing educational requirements
| - Any exceptions to the above required segments are made on a case-by-case basis
- If you are missing any of the requirements listed above, then please consider MUCM’s premedical program which will award you the required premedical credits allowing you a seamless transition into MUCM’s MD class.
- Any equivalency or acceptance of other allied health sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or other related biological sciences credits to suffice for the above can be only evaluated after reviewing your transcripts.
- If your credits are more than 10 years old or you are looking to transition from arts or non-medical fields then your profile may be evaluated for admissions into MUCM’s premedical program with later transition into MUCM’s MD program.

Transfer students acceptance
| Individuals seeking to transfer from another medical school may be considered under exceptional circumstances. Please reach out to the admissions office for further details. The previous medical school must be listed in The World Directory of Medical Schools at https://www.wdoms.org/ and have no negative sponsor notes during the time at which the student finished the transfer credits. |
