USMLE Step 1 & Step 2 CK Preparation
The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) is the primary licensing pathway for graduates wishing to practice medicine in the USA. MUCM’s curriculum is structured around USMLE preparation ensuring students are ready for Step 1 at the end of Basic Sciences and Step 2 CK during Clinical Sciences.
PLAB 1 & 2 Preparation - UK Pathway
The Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) examination is the primary route for international medical graduates to register with the General Medical Council (GMC) and practice medicine in the United Kingdom. MUCM’s curriculum covers the clinical knowledge and skills required for PLAB 1 and our clinical rotations provide the hands-on patient care experience essential for PLAB 2. Faculty guidance on the PLAB pathway is available throughout the clinical science program.
FMGE Preparation - India Pathway
The Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) is the licensing examination required for international medical graduates who wish to practice medicine in India. MUCM is NMC compliant and FMGE eligible — and our curriculum covers the subjects tested in the FMGE across both Basic Sciences and Clinical Sciences.
MCCQE Guidance - Canada Pathway
The Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) is the licensing examination for medical graduates wishing to practice in Canada. MUCM’s WFME-recognized CAAM-HP accreditation enables graduates to pursue the MCCQE pathway and our career counselling team provides guidance on the Canadian licensing process.
You're Never Preparing Alone
Medical licensing exams are challenging. At MUCM, no student faces that challenge alone. Our faculty, student services team, and peer mentoring program ensure that every student has the support, guidance, and resources they need from their first Step 1 practice question to their final licensing exam.
